The Western Cape is the most visited part of South Africa and contains a fabulous range of cultural and wilderness attractions.
The
Cape area is centred around Cape Town itself and its outlying suburbs, farmlands and beaches, most notably the Cape Winelands.
The area to the
East of the Cape is a classic area for self-drive trips and includes the Whale Coast, Overberg, Little Karoo and the Garden Route.
The area to the
North of the Cape is much lesser visited than the eastern side, but also contains some very interesting areas including Cederberg, Paternoster Peninsular and Southern Namaqualand.
