Ras Kutani Lodge is located on the mainland coast about 30km south of Dar es Salaam in Tanzania.
Situated on a hillside between a freshwater lagoon and the ocean, this is a very high quality lodge, offering barefoot luxury to a discerning clientele. An excellent beach experience, although it should be pointed out that there is no diving here.
Since most people also want to visit Zanzibar island, we typically use Ras Kutani as the first stop in a beach-safari-beach trip, where the safari is usually to the nearby Selous.
