Mkwaja is an imaginatively designed and good looking camp located on the beach just north of Saadani National Park.
Apart from the lack of diving and game in Saadani generally, our problem with this camp is that we do not think that the levels of service match up to the premium prices charged ... Mkwaja is much more laid back and less polished than the rate implies.
We find it tough to find enough reason to recommend Saadani. It might be a whole lot easier if the lodge itself offered something rather more extraordinary. In reality feedback has been lukewarm.
