Saadani Lodge is an upper-middle quality small lodge, located inside the national park of the same name, on the Tanzanian coast north of Dar es Salaam. The camp is as well positioned as any to offer the unique combination of safari and beach.
Although we do think that Saadani Lodge offers a really good all-round experience, unfortunately we only rarely end up including it in trips, as most people prefer to visit a prime safari such as the Serengeti or Selous first and then head to the islands of Zanzibar, Mafia or Pemba for their beach section. But this remains a genuine option, especially as part of a longer trip.
