Echo Beach is located on the southeast coast of Zanzibar Island off the coast of Tanzania.
This small and relatively upmarket guesthouse is situated on a very good stretch of beach, away from the main village, just south of the much larger Breezes Beach Club. It is personally hosted by the English owners, one of whom is a chef, hence the lodge's reputation for good food in particular.
Opened in 2007, Echo Beach has developed into a reliable alternative for when higher rated options such as Pongwe Beach and Matemwe Beach aare fully booked.
