Sultan's Palace is located on the southeast coast of Zanzibar island in Tanzania.
This is an interesting, rather upmarket Italian owned lodge. The large central building is an interesting if rather inaccurate architectural pastiche of a Zanzibari palace. The gardens, rooms and beachfront are all rather pleasant.
We tend not to use Sultan's Palace very often ... it is simply too Italian in style for our non-Italian guests and its proximity to the large Dongwe Club Vacanze is also a big turnoff.
