It came as a great shock to all of us who knew Kendwa as a sleepy, cool backpacker hangout, when suddenly the spaceship Gemma del Est landed.
This huge facility must have 138 rooms, mainly catering for the European packaged holiday market. Actually it is quite high specification and rather modern.
We do occasionally have guests looking for this type of larger facility, in which case we prefer to recommend Breezes or Blue Bay, which are able to offer a good range of facilities without feeling quite so touristy.
