Mchanga Beach Lodge is located on the less busy northern end of Kiwengwa Beach in northeast Zanzibar.
This is a very pleasant upper middle range beach lodge with only a handful of rooms on the back of a very lovely white sand beach. The South African and American owners host the lodge personally, offering pretty high levels of service.
Mchanga offers a great alternative to Matemwe Beach and Matemwe Bungalows to the north, being not too impinged upon by the larger resorts 1km either side and still within reasonable range of the diving at Mnemba Atoll.
