Shooting Star is a very pleasant small beach lodge, set up on top of rise above the beach on the northeast coast of Zanzibar Island.
This lodge has been around a long time now, impriving gradually over the years. Now one can only describe it as an elegant and discrete little place, offering reliably good levels of service.
The only real downside is that through no fault of its own, Shooting Star has found itself increasingly surrounded by large beach resorts, which sees us more often recommending the higher rated Matemwe Beach and Pongwe Beach.
