Zanzibar Retreat is located in the Matemwe area to the northeast of the island of Zanzibar.
Situated adjacent to the main village here at Matemwe, this small guesthouse has just 7 rooms, central thatched public areas and a nice pool, all at the back of the main beach.
Although quite frankly rather too close in to the village and rather squeezed into its plot, Zanzibar Retreat is nonetheless really a quite reasonable little place, perhaps worth considering if you want to dive Mnemba but the much rather rated Matemwe Beach is fully booked.
