It is a relatively commercial, organised place, with bars, restaurants and an internet cafe, catering mainly for walk-in backpackers and overland groups.

Guests wanting an idyllic beach guestshouse would be better off at Matemwe Beach and Pongwe Beach, whilst those looking for a bit of a party we much prefer to recommend Kendwa Rocks.
