Previously known as Emerson House, this hotel was actually the forerunner for the more illustrious Emerson and Green Hotel, now known as 236 Hurumzi, the place which largely defined the modern interpretation of 'Zanzibar style'.
Zanzibar Coffee House offers authentically styled rooms in a converted merchant's house. This is a total immersion Stonetown experience, not for the fainthearted.
