Chapwani is a really beautiful little island, with fine sandy beaches, interesting coral formations including a tidal swimming lagoon and a historic cemetary. The lodge here is small and pleasant, with decent levels of service in our experience.
Problem is the location. If the island could be towed to the east coast it would be heavenly, but located in the busy bay off the commercial port of Stonetown is far from ideal.
In this price range we would recommend
Matemwe Bungalows out on the northeast coast, possibly with a night or two in the centre of Stonetown at
Emerson and Green.
