Salome's Garden is a wonderful sultan's house dating back to the nineteeth century, set above the beach and hidden away in a large and magical walled garden. The house has been sympathetically rennovated, with just four guest rooms, a small domestic staff and communal dining facilities.
We have a great soft spot for this lovely house, having used it as a base when starting our business, but these days we tend to book it sparingly. The main problem is the location, which is neither town nor beach. But for whole house groups with a strong interest in history, Salome's Garden remains a genuine alternative.
