Rivertrees is an at-home guesthouse about 20km east of Arusha on the main Moshi road, which makes it quite convenient for guests arriving on a late flight into Kilimanjaro airport.
The driveway leads a short distance south of the main road to the main colonial style farmhouse. The rooms are beyond, scattered amongst the gardens beyond the pool.
Although we find this lodge pleasant and intimate, we do generally prefer to use one of the coffee plantation lodges slightly nearer to town, notably Moivaro and Kigongoni.
