E Unoto Lodge is located at the base of the Rift Escarpment about 30 minutes north of the town of Mto wa Mbu and the entrance to Lake Manyara in Northern Tanzania.
This small lodge has potential, but unfortunately it has been created to mimic the larger motel lodges in the area. The Maasai theme that runs through the design is pleasant, but overall there is a distinct lack of atmosphere.
We only book E Unoto very rarely, usually an overnight rest stop when returning on the long road from Lake Natron.
