Ikoma Camp is a permanent tented lodge located just outside the Central Serengeti in Northern Tanzania.
This rather tired lodge in a less than ideal location is essentially included in safaris as a lower cost option to one of the camps inside the park, such as Ronjo Camp. But for those guests willing to forgive the lower standards of build and service here, the atmosphere is not bad, with a nice mix of enthusiastic outdoorsy guests.
Although we are happy to build it into a trip, for most guests Ikoma Camp represents an economy too far.
