Serengeti Mara Triangle

Conventional wisdom dicates that during the dry season Jul/Oct you can forget seeing the migration in the Serengeti, it having crossed into Kenya. Actually there is almost as much of the Mara river inside the Serengeti as there is the Maasai Mara and the migration does not completely cross, but straddles this border.

But where on the Kenyan side there is accommodation for in excess of 5000 visitors, here in the Mara Triangle there are just four excellent small camps for a maximum of 80 guests between them.

For the rest of the year Nov/Jun, the area has even fewer visitors and good resident game makes this a real private paradise and a great place to breathe easy at the end of a long safari.
