Ndutu is one of the oldest lodges in Tanzania and one of only a very few which remain truly independent. It is friendly, honest and reasonably priced.
Unfortunately during the main migration season Dec/Apr this place is in demand and gets to feel rather busy and touristic, so we prefer to use one of the more exclusive mobile camps in the area such as
Olakira or
Masek or head for the much more secluded
Olduvai Camp in Southcentral Serengeti.
During the converse season, Ndutu Lodge is not generally considered the place to be, which perversely means that it a much quieter and more pleasant.
