Located in the deep southwest of Tarangire National Park, Swala Camp benefits from almost complete isolation.
The best thing about Swala is the presence of elephant, which June to December are usually all around camp, lured in by the small waterhole.
It is a comfortable tented camp, with decent levels of service, suitable for high end guests.
We tend to use Swala Camp rather less often than we might, primarily because of the presence of two higher rated camps in the vicinity, namely Oliver's Camp and Nomad Tarangire Camp.
