Tamarind Camp is located outside the northern border of Tarangire National Park in Northern Tanzania.
This is a less than ideal location since it is not in a prime game-viewing area and you have to head around to the main gate every time you want to enter the park for game-viewing, which puts you in the thick of the safari traffic.
The camp itself is very pleasant, with excellently turned out sleeping and dining tents pitched around a central campfire. The staff are relaxed and professional.
We very rarely use this camp.
