Tarangire River Camp is located outside the northwest border of Tarangire National Park in Northern Tanzania.
This is a decent camp, with pleasant public areas located on a rise high above the usually dry river bed and decent tented rooms raised on platforms below corrugated tin roofs.
Although offering reasonable value for money, Tarangire River Camp is undoubtedly disadvantaged by its location and we usually prefer to recommend Mawe Ninga Camp deep inside the park itself.
