Tarangire Treetops is located in a private concession area just outside Tarangire National Park in Northern Tanzania.
This is a pleasantly quirky lodge. The rooms ... constructed on stilts around enormous baobab trees ... are pretty cool, whilst elephant watching from the public areas is another particular highlight.
The main downside remains the location, which is a long way from the main game-viewing areas within the park.
We rarely use Tarangire Treetops, mainly because of a compromised location and elevated prices.
