Hatari Lodge is located at the top of Arusha National Park in Northern Tanzania.
This pleasant little place has the atmosphere of an old farmstead, with a homely central area and rooms scattered around the gardens. The lodge is named after the John Wayne movie which was actually shot at the adjacent Momella Lodge.
Unfortunately we generally find Arusha National Park to be a bit of a distraction to the main safari areas of Northern Tanzania and consequently tend not to include Hatari Lodge in many trips, more often stopping over in one of the hotels nearer to Arusha, such as Moivaro Lodge.
