Momella Lodge is located at the top of Arusha National Park in Northern Tanzania.
This rather large and aged facility was made famous by the 1950's film of the same name, starring John Wayne as a swaggering animal catcher.
It is possible to actually watch the film whilst staying here, which is actually quite fun, but generally insufficient compensation for the quality of the facilities.
The nearby Hatari Lodge is rather more pleasant, if also more pricey.
