The Lemosho route approaches the mountain from the west. The first couple of days through the forest is extremely pretty and has very low traffic.
The problem comes later on in the route, where it encounters traffic issues after joining the busy Machame trail.
The shortest is six nights, at which variants
6A and
6B are workable but imperfect.
At seven nights Lemosho loses out to the
Shira route and is a non-starter. Only when we get to eight nights and longer does Lemosho become a really attractive proposition. Contact us for longer tailormade treks.
