Shira 7A is a high quality, medium traffic, seven night trek on Kilimanjaro, a decent route on the mountain for people who are very confident about their fitness.
These days we much prefer to use the
Shira 7B variant, which cleverly avoids traffic on the busy middle section. We do sometimes revert to this 7A version during low season, but increasingly rarely.
Trekkers not so sure of their fitness or who cannot afford to extend to 7 nights should should look to the
Rongai route.
