Marangu Hotel is located in Marangu village on the lower slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro in Northern Tanzania.
This is a pleasant enough place in a pretty decent location. The lodge operates its own climbs, especially on the Marangu Route itself and so nights here are usually sold as part of a climb package.
Since we do not use their climb facility, we do not presently make reservations at this lodge, preferring to use Kilimanjaro Mountain Resort or the Kibo Hotel instead.
