Mwanza is a large town on the southern shores of Lake Victoria.

Although of some considerable size and significance, the town offers little to interest the safari traveller.

We tend to only get involved with Mwanza when we are arranging a safari for guests who are involved in voluntary projects in the area.

Guests who wish to combine a trip to see the gorillas in Rwanda and a safari in the Serengeti may well connect between the two via Mwanza, but this merely involves a few minutes changing planes on the airstrip.
