Rubondo Island Camp is located in the southwest corner of Lake Victoria in Northwest Tanzania.
The island itself is a fascinating place, with a range of different eco-systems providing home to a good range of game including elephant, giraffe and chimpanzees.
Unfortunately the lodge here is not so interesting.
Until such time that someone puts a really good lodge out here, Rubondo Island will remain somewhere too peripheral for us to recommend for inclusion in many safaris.
