One of only a handful of owner-guided lodges in East Africa, Mwagusi is a ballsy, earthy kind of camp, pleasantly old-fashioned, idiosyncratic and uncommercial.
Mwagusi exists in order that owner Chris Fox can live full time in the bush. It is his life. Both Chris and his guides are able to provide often intense and unconventional game-guiding, up there with the very best.
This is very much a passion venture than a commercial lodge, best suited to guests looking for an interesting and unusual experience rather than continuity of service.
