Selous Wildlife Lodge, which is not at all related to the chain of Wildlife Lodges, is located in the Selous Game Reserve in southern Tanzania.
Situated on a seasonal tributary of the Rufiji upstream from Steigler's Gorge, this small luxury camp has 12 luxury tented rooms. Thatched central areas are very comfortable and there is a pleasant pool deck to one side.
A reasonably high specification new camp. We particularly like the fact that safari vehicles and boats only have four seats. On the other hand, we have some way to be convinced that game-viewing in this area is sufficiently reliable in the dry season.
