Selous Retreat is located in the Selous Game Reserve in southern Tanzania.
Situated in the far west of the reserve, this camp enjoyr superb isolation, but perhaps slightly lighter game densities. It is an extremely unusual lodge, central areas being reminiscent of an old colonial fort, whilst the 12 suites are sumptuous military safari zen chic. As well as all the usual services, guests here are invited to visit the spa instead of going out on a safari, should they so wish ... at no additional cost.
A refreshing change from the norm, Selous Retreat is also really good value compared with other top lodges in the reserve.
