Set up by Rolland Purcell in the 1990's, Chada Camp has gained a deserved reputation for being a really wild and whacky place to visit.
In recent years the camp has been somewhat tamed, making it more suitable for a wider range of guests, but it remains a truly excellent and spirited safari camp, one of the best in Africa.
Most of our guests are tempted out west by the chimp experience at Zoe's Camp in the Mahale Mountains. A twice weekly flight from Arusha combines these two camps, making an absolutely superb if rather pricey seven night combo.
