Katavi Fox Camp is a perfectly decent upper middle range tented safari camp, owned and operated by the Fox family and typically accessed from Ruaha in the south in their own light aircraft.
For us the biggest lure to come all the way out west is the chimpanzee experience at Zoe's Camp in Mahale, so we tend to use the rather more upmarket Chada Camp here in Katavi since the two camps are related.
But if you want to combine Katavi with the southern parks of Selous and Ruaha, then this camp is a decent option.
