Lufupa Camp is located at a confluence of rivers at the heart of the north Kafue National Park.
This lodge tends acts as a hub for the whole northern sector, a staging post for the more remote camps out on the Busanga Plains for guests arriving into the park by road and by air. The largely wooded riverine location complements the plains camps extremely well, with leopard a particular speciality.
Three of us here at ATR cut our safari teeth working this camp, so we really do have a soft spot for it in our hearts. It may not be in the most productive game area in Zambia, but it does remain a lovely remote spot.
