Royal Livingstone is set on the north side of the Zambezi river, immediately above the Victoria Falls.
This is a large 173 room, twin-hotel complex, where Royal Livingstone plays 'Posh' to Zambezi Sun's 'Becks'. It is kind of Louis Quatorze with golf carts, if you can imagine that ... and actually it does a pretty good job of trying to be the real thing.
Royal Livingstone may be rather large and mainstream for us to get too enthusiastic about, but we do sometimes use it for guests wanting a dose of urban comfort at one end of a long safari.
