Stanley Safari Lodge is located up on a ridge with distant views to the Zambezi and the spray of the Victoria Falls.
Public areas are pleasant enough, with lawns to the front and a large swimming pool. Rooms are a harlequin set, mainly copies of those at the more upmarket
River Club and
Tongabezi.
There is no doubting that what lets this lodge down above all else is its location away from the river.
We therefore tend to include it in trips only when
Chundukwa Lodge and
Waterberry Lodge are fully booked.
