Bovu Island is remotely located on an island in the Zambezi river about 45km upstream from the Victoria Falls.
This is a very simple but pretty cool hippy-hangout of a place, with decent facilities but not exactly military precision in its hosting. A little too far out to serve as a base for Livingstone and the falls, so best used as an island retreat in combination with a more central lodge.
This type of facility is generally too unpredictable for us to include reliably in trips, although we can leave blank days in a longer itinerary if you want to book it direct.
