Chongwe River House is located on the western border of Lower Zambezi National Park. Although being outside the park the camp has access to an area rich in game.
Open April to November, this architecturally remarkable house, an annexe to the nearby lodge, is available for private groups of 4 to 8 guests in four rooms and comes fully staffed with private vehicles, boats and guides.
Although working out slightly more expensive than the lodge, Chongwe River House offers a wonderfully private and intimate safari experience. A really good option for the right sized groups. And more than a little bit funky.
