Kanyemba Island Camp is located on an island in the river 55km to the west of the Lower Zambezi National Park.
A satellite of the nearby Kanyemba Lodge, this small camp has 4 simple reed-walled rooms and nicely designed public areas.
We particularly liked the quiet location and the thought of canoeing the river around here is quite appealing and lower cost, but we suspect that ultimately most international visitors will find this too far out from the core game areas to warrant a visit.
