Luangwa River Lodge is located on the east bank of the river in the central sector of South Luangwa National Park.
This is as close as the valley comes to a South African style safari-chic lodge. There are just five rooms. The lodge offers a good mix of vehicle and walking safari year round.
Unusually for this area, this is not part of a group of lodges and can therefore be combined with any other in the area.
We tend to use this lodge only occasionally, when guests are looking for something more designer, or when our higher rated lodges are all fully booked.
