Mwamba Camp is located away from the main river in the excellent northern sector of South Luangwa National Park and is open June to October.
This very simple three room camp acts as a satellite to the more permanent Kaingo Camp, specialising in serious photographic safaris, with superb guiding by vehicle and on foot and an excellent range of hides.
This operation is small enough to feel like a real family run operation ... professional, but pleasantly amateurish and quirky in parts. If you are very serious about your photography or wanting something genuinely uncommercial, then this is hard to beat.
