Tafika Camp is located in the excellent northern sector of South Luangwa National Park and is open mid May to mid November.
The owners here are more focussed on the quality of the safari experience than the luxury of the accommodation.
The lodge is priced in such as way that the best way to visit is in combination with the smaller Chikoko Tree and Crocodile River walking camps across the river and Mwaleshi Camp in North Luangwa, which are under the same ownership and add up to a great mid-price option for more outdoorsy guests.
