Gwala Camp is located in the southern sector of South Luangwa National Park in western Zambia.
This small four room camp specialises in walking, so although the camp can be accessed by vehicle, all safari takes place on foot.
The camp is related to and therefore most often combined with nearby bushcamps Bilimungwe, Chamilandu, Chindeni, Kapamba, Kuyenda and Zungulila, as well as basecamp Mfuwe Lodge in the central sector of the park.
