Mana Pools national park is located on the southern bank of the Zambezi in northern Zimbabwe.
Once one of the most famous names in African safari, Mana Pools is best known for its walking and canoe safari along the banks of the mighty Zambezi.
Obviously the political situation here in Zimbabwe has not done tourism any favours and these days Mana Pools has almost fallen from sight, especially in comparison with the up and coming
Lower Zambezi national park over on the Zambian side of the river.
We rarely include Mana Pools in trips these days, but when we do it tends to be as a flying safari from
Victoria Falls into the high end
Ruckomechi Camp.
