Victoria Falls Hotel is located in the town of Victoria Falls in northwest Zimbabwe.
Dating back to 1905, this impressive colonial edifice is magnificently located above the gorge and has wonderful tea gardens with distant views of 'the smoke that thunders'.
Although always oozing charm and authenticity, the Victoria Falls Hotel really has had its ups and downs over the years. These days it is useable, if a rather pricey, but perhaps best suited to guests more interested in the depth of its history rather than the levels of its service.
