The problem with this high price, low volume approach is that the average traveller age climbs steeply and lodges tend to migrate towards an increasingly watered-down and half-baked safari.

Our biggest single challenge these days is not in finding high quality lodges, but in 'keeping the safari experience real'. To this end we work with suppliers to create and maintain a range of more active, involving, authentic and exciting safaris.

It is this broader range of safari which enables us to spark that passion within a wider age group ... welcoming in the next generation of safari lovers that will be needed to maintain these wonderful wild parts of Africa.
Headed towards the Gol Mountains in Southeast Serengeti in February, the rains have come, the grass is lush and the migration is in calf.
