Needless to say, when visiting lodges we always try to ask the right questions ... about how they deal with their waste, check that they are not planting exotic species in their grounds and that kind of thing.

Our customers too are invited to report back to us any environmental abuses that they might have noticed during their trip.

Any supplier who demonstrates significant environmental abuse is not permitted to enter our portfolio.

To date we are yet to encounter a situation where an existing supplier has had to be removed from our supplier list for reasons of ethical or environmental abuse, but we would not hesitate to use this sanction.
