Tanzania is perhaps the most diverse and alluring country in East Africa, with a remarkable range of safari and trekking options, to combine with the amazing tropical islands of Zanzibar.

Kenya offers some fine high end safari experiences, but also carries a heavy burden of mass market tourism. Rwanda and Uganda are primarily visited for their gorillas, but have much more to offer besides.

Botswana contains the highest quality and highest price safari on the continent, a very clean and pure bush experience.

Zambia offers a similar style of high quality lodge based safari, but is perhaps slightly less commercial and polished. At its best Namibia can offer some truly mind-blowing desert experiences.

South Africa is an incredibly diverse place of cities, coastlines, winelands and wilderness, a much more advanced country with infrastructure to match.
